Spring garden

Photo of rose

Overjoyed that the rose bushes in the garden have flowered after pruning them back heaps during Winter. Turns out they were two different plants, one with cream flowers and one with pink. I thought they may have been one. So exciting to find that out.

The rest of the garden has gone wild too and the figs are growing again on the tree. It’s marvelous. And that’s without much rain (and a bit of washing machine water now and then).

Well done with the pruning. The roses look so pretty. We can compare notes this weekend and I’ll show you a good fertiliser to use.

My mouth waters for some of those figs :)

I can see you’re a “budding” (pun) gardener!!

Your garden looks a treat! And in inner Melbourne too.

I am envious as the sum total of my horticultural efforts this year was two potplants received as a gift from a friend then killed in no time! I am blaming Bangkok’s pollution!

I hope to see the garden for myself soon.

Thanks :) I will admit though the garden right next to the roses is full of weeds! I have to get out there sometime. Where does the time go?
