A mountain engagement!
Bring out the trumpets, marching bands and choirs for Andrew and my engagement!
I’ve got to admit I was in on the plan the whole time but it was very special dressing up to go out for dinner to a lovely restaurant on Saturday night near Olinda in the Dandenongs and for Andrew to ask me the question! I can tell you there was very little delay between the question and the answer!
The Dandenongs was a perfect setting for our engagement weekend away - greenery everywhere and towering trees, coffee shops, stunning views of Melbourne from the lookout and mountain air, a B&B with a gorgeous garden and a log fire.
We’re so happy that all our family and friends are so excited too that we’ve decided to take this step to making a lifetime together, based on the love we share.

You brought tears to my eyes…..what a lovey, lovey and lovely picture of the two love birds. For a moment I thought that was my fire in the background, but oh no, I wouldn’t be that lucky to have the two love birds here on such an auspicious occasion. That was astounding news and on my birthday too, what could be more exciting?????

No, Andrew’s hair didn’t go red in the excitement - it’s just the lighting! I noticed that too. 
It will be great in Noooooosa! It’ll be the ritziest darn wedding this side of Fountain Lakes. Dress: Tizzy and pumpkin style coach to boot! Hee hee!
Don’t joke - I am already workshopping costumes for the Noosa nuptials. Pru and Trude won’t know what’s hit them!
Yes well I am wondering if I’ll go for the Bo Peep or Susan Renouf look myself…
Kim and Kel are going to be dancing next week on “Dancin’ with the Stars”!!! Should be a hoot.
I found my wedding dress and veil yesterday Ruth….interested???
I’ll have to look out for that…which night is it on? That’s funny re your wedding dress and veil. You could have a “fancy” dress party!
Dancing With the Stars is on Tues night, channel 7 at 7:30.
I thought you might like my wedding dress to wear for “something old”!! Remember you have to wear “something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue”.
