It is a good way to get into a habit of using less electricity – particularly given the nature of the sources of electricity in Australia.

There were some interesting letters in SMH after the switching off in Syd city….I was in a movie so didn’t see the Harbour Bridge being “switched off”!! I would have had a great view from 7th floor where Eliz’s apartment is in Cremorne!!
Yes – we saw on the news the people out around Sydney harbour to watch it happen. Apparently wasn’t as dramatic as expected. It showed me how much we rely on electricity!
