Tram Girl of Melbourne

I am now officially called the Tram Girl of Melbourne. I caught about 8 trams this morning looking at units in Melbourne. It’s a fun way to get to know the city though. The trams are very efficient - running about every 10-15 minutes and usually on time. Actually sometimes public transport in Melbourne runs ahead of time! That can be exasperating if you are on time but miss the tram or train because it is early.

The good news is that I put in an application this morning for a 1 bedroom unit in Prahran. The unit is light, surrounded by trees, in good condition and also very close to trams on High Street which go to Armadale train station so I can catch a train to the city for work or the other way to Chapel St to the great cafes, shops and markets (I’m trying not to sound like a real estate advertisement here - ‘light-filled with plenty of storage space, renovated kitchen, washing machines taps and close to tranport, shops and cafes’). Hopefully the application goes through.

Just relaxing for the rest of the weekend. Might go to a movie and catch up on some reading.

    Hi,

Thanks for your comment on Melbourne. ‘Cause, I am shortly coming for my MBA program out there.

No problem Sachin. I’m discovering that it’s an easy place to live in and get around. I’ll keep writing more as I explore over the next few months! I think you’ll enjoy studying your MBA here.
